Terms of use
Effective September 7, 2026
Marketplace role
The Small Business Marketplace provides advertising and inquiry-routing tools. It is not a broker, dealer, fiduciary, escrow provider, valuation service, law firm, or party to any transaction between a buyer and seller.
Account and listing qualification
Users must provide accurate account information and complete required automated checks. Business listings also require evidence of control over the website or primary transferable asset before publication. If the system flags an account or listing, we may notify the account holder and place it into further review.
Meaning of qualification
Account qualification confirms control of the associated account email and completion of applicable risk checks. Business qualification confirms that specified listing and control evidence was reviewed. Neither guarantees legal identity, ownership of every asset, financial accuracy, available funds, purchase intent, valuation, transferability, or transaction quality.
Pricing and cancellation
An approved active listing costs $9.99 per month. There is no success fee. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and access continues through the current paid period unless a listing is removed for a violation.
Buyer responsibility
Buyers must conduct their own legal, financial, technical, tax, commercial, and operational diligence. The marketplace does not guarantee identity, ownership, revenue, profitability, valuation, transferability, or future performance.
Acceptable use
Users may not submit unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, harassing, malicious, or privacy-invasive content; scrape the service in a way that harms availability; bypass security controls; or use inquiry tools for spam.
Transactions and disputes
Buyers and sellers negotiate and transact directly. They are solely responsible for contracts, payment, escrow, taxes, transfer, regulatory compliance, and disputes. Third-party services may have separate terms and fees.
Content and removal
Sellers grant the marketplace permission to display, format, distribute, and promote submitted listing content while the listing is active and to retain a limited sold or withdrawn archive where lawful. We may request corrections, suspend, or remove content that violates these terms or creates material risk.
Service availability and liability
The service is provided as available without a guarantee of inquiries, offers, sale, uptime, or search placement. To the extent permitted by law, the marketplace is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or transaction-related losses.
Changes
We may update these terms prospectively. Material changes will be communicated through the service or the account email.
